cedar strip kayak - source for wood?

cedar strip kayak - source for wood?

I want to build a cedar strip kayak, and I want
to mill my own strips. I am having trouble
finding a source of (boat) cedar. Ideally,
somewhere near San Jose, CA, but mail order
would be definitely better than nothing.

Any advice gratefully accepted.
