Default Try to find a can of.............

.......Collinite Fleetwax (paste) for sale anywhere but on the net. I
couldn't.....and believe me I tried.

After my doctors appointment today I went looking for a can of Collinite
Fleetwax and a thermostat for my boat.

Boaterworld........sorry, we have neither.....try WestMarine.

WestMarine........nope, don't have them....try NAPA for the thermostat.

NAPA.........that will be a special order and it may take 2 weeks.

Jeesh!

On the way home I stopped at Home Depot to get some painting supplies for
barrier and bottom painting and looked for SS 3/16" 'snaptoggles' (for
securing the new boat seat pedestal)....again, no luck.

So back home I went, empty handed. I jumped onto the internet and found all
the items but could not find one store that carried all or even 2 or the
items. Oops, looks like separate shipping charges for each of the 3 items.

I ended up paying $20.50 in combined shipping charges for 3 relatively small
packages of merchandise retailing for $44 total. Go figure!

So...........do they sell Collinite in a store by you? ;-)

I've got a half-empty can of Collonite I'll be glad to sell you for
$299.99 :}

It is good stuff. I use it at the beginning and end of the season. In
between (when the boat is in the water) I use Meguiar's Flagship premium
boat wax.

Let me know when you get down to $.50 for the can. ;-)

If it were for your car, it would be 50 cents...but for a boat? Much, much
more.

Actually it is for my daughter's car..............a poor 21 year old coed
struggling with the high costs of college while working a part time job just
to stay above water. All she wants to do is provide the best protection
possible for her aging car subject to the torments of mother nature.

Do you accept PayPal? ;-)

Wait...I have to restring my violin.

OK....I just called her and she raised her offer to $0.55 for the can, with
you paying for the shipping and cost of insurance.

Poor girl......she was in tears knowing that the $0.05 was to go towards a
can of beans for her dinner tonight.

Heartless Democrats...........damn you all! ;-)
