Default Trim / Tilt Tab HELP NEEDED please

Well...Now that I fixed my electrical problems, the boat started right
up. However, now the trim/tilt tabs are not working.

They make the noise as if they are working, but the hydrolics aren't
moving the tabs. Any suggestions?

Does it have oil in the reservoir?

It does have some. I forgot to mention that it is on a 1988 mercruser
I/O with Alpha 1 stern drive.

My book says;

"Hydraulic problems'
Unit will not trim up or out
1- Fluid level low
2- External leak
3- Internal cylinder leak
4- Low pump pressure
5- Reverse lock inoperative
6- Internal resistance
7- U-joints "frozen"

I have assumed hydraulic problems since you can hear the hydraulic motor.

You may need a manual to go further.

Good luck.
