Well...Now that I fixed my electrical problems, the boat started right
up. However, now the trim/tilt tabs are not working. They make the noise as if they are working, but the hydrolics aren't moving the tabs. Any suggestions? |

It does have some. I forgot to mention that it is on a 1988 mercruser
I/O with Alpha 1 stern drive. |

My book says; "Hydraulic problems' Unit will not trim up or out 1- Fluid level low 2- External leak 3- Internal cylinder leak 4- Low pump pressure 5- Reverse lock inoperative 6- Internal resistance 7- U-joints "frozen" I have assumed hydraulic problems since you can hear the hydraulic motor. You may need a manual to go further. Good luck. |
