Fortunately, there are no DD's in my immediate area. Up here, the big thing is 'Tim Hortons'. They did me a favour when an American company (Wendy's Hamburgers) bought out local boy Ron Joyce, and proceeded to do away with the local bakery. They now ship the frozen crap in and have the local stores warm up/finish baking product in special ovens. Cured me of a donut addiction. Besides they don't even carry my all time favourite anymore... white cake donught with white coconut all over. ^&%^& Americans...they'll screw up anything! |

My coffeemaker company sent me an email announcing the availability of Tully's Coffee in "k-cups," which is what I use. Claimed it was a leading brand in the northwest and had some interesting blends, including a "kona," which I enjoy. Opinions of Tully's Coffee? Thanks! Dang good stuff. Wish they were available in Oregon. Always drink some when in Chuck's country. Thanks...I'll order some of the kona. Coffee snob. when I was in college maintaining mainframes, had a system in a coffee roasting plant. All the Kona (100%) I wanted, but rarely made coffee at home. I purchased a Lb. of Kona Coffee and it was so "mellow", it tasted like watered down coffee. I normally like French Roast or a coffee with some flavor to it, even when I used twice as much Kona, it still tasted like watered down coffee, sort of the "Lite" version of coffee. Hmmm. Something was wrong. Either the coffee, the directions on the package or your following them. The "kona" I drank in Hawaii was rich, full-bodied coffee with a great aroma. Are you sure it was authentic kona? Most Kona is a blend these days. to expensive for just Kona beans. |

Speaking of beer......!! If you are around Rehobeth Beach, Deleware, or Gaithersburg, Maryland, get thyself to the Dogfish Head and have one of their delicious 60 Minute IPA's! My brother was travelling through, ate there, had one, and knowing that I love GOOD beer, brought me six. They are very good. |

I've been thinking about ordering one of them and am considering either the B40 or B50. Is the programmable LCD worth the extra money? I'd only use it once or twice a day in the morning and occasionally in the early evening, but like the idea of trying different types of coffees. Kinda like having a coffee Ipod. Coffee snob. Pansy Coffee snobs! |
