Up here, the big thing is 'Tim Hortons'.
They did me a favour when an American company (Wendy's Hamburgers)
bought out local boy Ron Joyce, and proceeded to do away with the local
bakery. They now ship the frozen crap in and have the local stores warm
up/finish baking product in special ovens. Cured me of a donut addiction.
Besides they don't even carry my all time favourite anymore... white
cake donught with white coconut all over.
