What size bimini should I get?
I'm going to replace the convertible top on my 19' bow rider with a bimini top. The convertible top only protects the two convertible to lounger seats and isn't high enough to permit standing up under it. I'm getting a bimini that will be tall enough to permit standing but don't know how long it should be. My first thought is that it should cover from the forward edge of the windshield to the forward edge of the engine (stern drive) box. For those of you who have bimini's: what do you think? Should I just get one long enough to cover the seating area, one that covers the whole length of the boat, or what? |

William,
The sizes for the bimini youre looking for is 6' or 8' long. On a 19' boat I would buy a 6' long bimini. The best place for bimini's I've found is Defender. (www.defender.com) I've bought several bimini tops from them and have been very happy. Rob |
