DC is supposed to get only 8-12 inches. It's sticking to the trees now,
so
tomorrow should be pretty. Fixed a big pot of stew, got the fire going,
good to go all day tomorrow with the Olympics.

I have a JD tractor with a loader bucket, but it's a pain to clear the
driveway because you can't plow the snow to one side. You have to plow a
big pile of snow, then stop and pick it up with the loader and dump it
off to the side. I ordered a plow attachment, but it won't be in until
the middle of next week - too late for this storm. My driveway is long
.... comes in from the road, divides to go both ways around the horse
barn and up to the house. Total of about 1600-1800 feet by 15-20 feet
wide I would guess, maybe more. That's a lot of snow to move if there is
close to 2 feet of it.

Pansy. Real men would shovel that little bit by hand. ;-)

Heh. I'd rather watch it melt.

We used to get it plowed but I told Mrs.E that I could handle it (justified
the new plow toy, you know) ,so she cancelled the plowing service

I just waited too long to order it.

How about another tractor dedicated to the snowblower?
