Mrs. E. leaving for Norfolk this morning. I am staying to ride out the storm, plow the driveway, then drive to Norfolk myself next week to deliver a Harley Fatboy. RCE I am watching the last of the fog burn off, to be a 70 degree day. Going to pressure wash the back wall, so I can paint it before the Trex for the deck is delivered Tuesday. Thanks a lot. Weather guessers now say more like 18+" on the southeast coast between Boston and the Upper Cape. Wonderful. RCE DC is supposed to get only 8-12 inches. It's sticking to the trees now, so tomorrow should be pretty. Fixed a big pot of stew, got the fire going, good to go all day tomorrow with the Olympics. -- 'Til next time, John H ****************************************** ***** Have a Spectacular Day! ***** ****************************************** |

You have to plow a big pile of snow, then stop and pick it up with the loader and dump it off to the side. I ordered a plow attachment, but it won't be in until the middle of next week - too late for this storm. My driveway is long .... comes in from the road, divides to go both ways around the horse barn and up to the house. Total of about 1600-1800 feet by 15-20 feet wide I would guess, maybe more. That's a lot of snow to move if there is close to 2 feet of it. RCE |
