Me for one.
You still get better quality for a given investment that way.
This will change for sure.

And then you have all who shoot far away from the power grid.
The batteries in my 'chemical' cameras last for years and one
of them - my old SLR - even works with flat batteries if I
judge the light correctly....

BTW, I do have a digital camera too and I find it very useful
in situations when I wouldn't have bothered with photographing
in the past.
