![]() "megladon" wrote in message oups.com... Has anyone installed trim tabs on a mid 90's Chaparral? The issue I am having is this boat has the swim platform molded around the engine. There is no room to install the actuator. The only place I can put it is in the small area next to the outdrive. According to Bennett, I only need 8" from the centerline. I will be about 12" away. Will I be able to benefit from this or will it be a waste of money? As long as the tabs contact the water, 12" will be better than 8". A little more leverage. |
