When you build a gear train, you don't just rely on rpm to lubricate - there are pressure ports, the gears are raked, the oil bath has more volume, etc. I can build a 6x2x6 box and make oil foam under high rpm - it proves nothing. Yeah, but foaming oil *is* one of the reasons why you're not supposed to overfill, at least with certain types of engines. I wonder why this is a concern. |
