Care to point me to a Japanese vechicle rated to tow a 15,000 lb fifth wheel and I'll consider it. Eisboch That's a comment you really love. But, it's pointless because you're using a rarely purchased specialty vehicle* as an example. It may as well be a Caterpillar payloader. * Don't even comment on the statistical meaning of this. Just don't. I won't, other than to point out that RV'ing has had a dramatic growth curve in the past few years and the market for products continues to be healthy. Oh boy. At least some state campgrounds are kind enough to segregate these monstrosities, far from the tent areas, so we don't need to listen to the damned generators that are cranked up at 7:01 AM when quiet hours end. That used to burn my ass in some California state parks, they'd give me a tent site right in the middle of those land yachts with their generators running constantly. I am not much of a camper but the few times I've stopped at RV campsites I've never heard anyone's generator running. The sites all had power. In fact, the new RV has had the generator on twice. Once when we bought it and were given the indoctrination and once a month or so ago in my yard just to see if it still worked. Eisboch |
