Default Defective oil level sensor 1989 115 merc...

I have an 1989 115hp merc with a defective oil level sensor in the
integrated tank. The oil is drained and I can easily see the sensor
but how in the hell do you replace it?

Any advice is appreciated

Invest in a service manual. It will pay for itself the first time you
use it.
