1955 green johnson outboard question
The 1955 25 hp Johnson was available with a 6 volt electric starter;
there was no generator kit for this engine. Generator kits became available with the 12 volt systems circa 1957(30hp) or 58(35hp) My math makes this engine 49 years old! I'm sure you can still get high volume parts like ignition parts and impellers and parts that were common to many other years, but most parts will be N.L.A. Good luck and good boating, Jim Boots Crofoot wrote: can any one tell me if it is electric start did it have a generator and also can you still get parts? |
