Yesterday, just for the hell of it, I did a solo launch and retrieval of
our Parker 25. The launch was easy, as I was using a deep ramp. The boat
just floated free of the trailer, so I tied it off and parked the tow
vehicle and trailer.

On the day he claimed he was boating, he still managed to post 23 times.
When did he actually find the time to go boating as he claimed? Must have
been a short trip.

Another right-wing non-reader. Where does my post state I went boating?
I said I splashed and retrieved the boat. That takes 20 minutes. Getting
to the marina from my front door takes a lot less time than that.

You know, there are meds you can take for your ADD...

Harry, you had to drive to Breezy Point (more than a 10 minute trip unless you
live in Chesapeake Beach), hook up your trailer to your truck. drive the length
of the BP channel, back the boat into the water, release the boat and tie it to
the dock, and park your truck and trailer. Now, you may have walked back to the
boat, or you may have just sat in the truck marveling at how well you got the
boat into the water.

No wonder you stayed in the military. You don't read well. I said I
splashed and retrieved the boat in 20 minutes. I spent an additional
five minutes making an adjustment on the trailer bow rest. I was in and
out of the boatyard in 30 minutes, and that included chewing the rag for
a minute or two with a fellow who was there that I know.

And, as I stated, a round-trip from my driveway to the marina takes less
than 20 minutes. And no, I don't live in Chesapeake Beach. You certainly
didn't take the point at any time while you were in the military, eh?
There are plenty of places to live that are closer to the boatyard than
Chesapeake Beach.

You must be one hell of a teacher, Herring. After a few classes with
you, your students must really appreciate the return of their regular
teacher.
