Thanks! Unfortunately, the scare-mongers have once again ruined things here in
Vancouver. Can you imagine a Canada Day celebration WITHOUT fireworks? Yup, "too
many drunk ruffians!".

Anyway, taking tomorrow off as well (along with 90% of the Canadian
workforce...), getting my outboard back, maybe scare some fish...

Makes a lot of sense. I mean, obviously, nobody will get drunk unless there are
fireworks, right?

We'll be taking a boatload of guests into Elliott Bay for the Fourth of July
Display on Sunday. Everybody will be watching fireworks but me. (I'll be
watching out for drunk ruffians boating badly in the fray)

No kidding! The last time we tried that up at Everett, we almost got hit
by some drunks who decided it'd be a good idea to use a 60 year old wood
boat as target practice for a roman candle.

I'm *so* upset. (not)

Plenty of room for two threads of good will.

Thanks Chuck.
Wish I had my Sandpiper ready for our harbour fireworks tonight. I removed a
number of fittings for larger backing plates and re-bedding.
As I told Dennis, I'm resting up after a full day in the sun installing
windows.

With these big un's, I had a guy who used to be in the reno business come
over and do most of the fitting. I was more his assistant on this project.
My speciality would be in smaller windows I can easily carry by myself.
And yes...I clean then also.
