"I think he did have enough proof to take action," Kerrey said.

I never stated anything about O'Reilly and whether I believe in what he

not true, something that you still cannot do. You then attack me and call
me childish names for doing so.

This is your typical MO when you are again caught in a corner. Laughable.

I am not interested in "addressing" messages that the sleaze known as
O'Reilly gives. I've seen enough from the extreme right to know there is
very little it produces that is worth the time it takes to read. When I
want responsible opinion from the right, I know where to find it. It
ain't on Faux or NewsMax or in this newsgroup.

How many times do you have to be told that I have NO interest in
engaging in ongoing debate with usenet neocon asswipes? 100 times? 200
times? Do your synapses ever connect? I have told you over and again
that I have NO interest in engaging the likes of you in political
discussions. In these forums, I simply enjoy watching right-wing trash
like you and Gawkin and Bertie and a few others attempting to
rationalize the never-ending lies and screw-ups of Bush et al. When I
feel it will help matters move along, I'll toss in a brief response or

two.

When I want to engage in political badinage with a rightie here, I'll
pick on Nobby. He's got tongue in his cheek and a great sense of humor.
You, on the other hand, have your foot stuck in your mouth, and couldn't
turn a decent phrase if your life depended upon it.

Got it now?

So exactly what is it that O'Reilly said that is not true?

Neo- meaning *new*
con- short for *conservative
wanna-be- slang for someone who *wants to be*.

So, neocon is short for *new conservative*, a phrase coined to explain
the new age jackals that inhabit the right wing, and those that WANT
TO BE, but are a little short in the intelligence department, so they
don't quite know how.
Simple, really. I think that most people of average intelligence would

Neo- meaning *new*
con- short for *conservative
wanna-be- slang for someone who *wants to be*.

So, neocon is short for *new conservative*,

So, judging from your definition, a "new" conservative is someone who
used to be something else but is now conservative. Since the
ideological opposite of conservative is liberal, then following that
logic, the conclusion can be drawn that a "new" conservative is most
likely an "old" liberal. A former liberal who now, after having to
move out of their parent's house, getting a job of their own,
starting a family, and realizing how the world really works, has now
matured and come to the realization that liberal idealism is a joke,
which tries to force equality where it can't exist naturally.
Consequently, their viewpoint have changed to embrace what traditional
conservative values are.

So a "neo conservative" is a liberal convert. Seems to be a lot of
those lately. Liberalism is having a tough time holding on to people
over the age of 30. Unless, of course, they haven't yet achieved
anything, and still look to the government for "help"......

Maybe Dave just used a fairly standard and respected source for his definition,
Meriam-Webster's dictionary, which defines a neoconservative: a former liberal
espousing political conservatism.

So, his initial assumption was pretty darn correct. However, since Webster's
does not put any time reference in its definition, the assumption that the
liberal who switched must be old is just that - an assumption.

There are both young and old neoconservatives. Many of us, during high school
and college, considered ourselves "liberal," but woke up and realized that the
rhetoric dealing with helping the poor was just that. The name of the game is
power, whether the clothing is sheep's or not.

Saw a pretty sight when I went to Breezy Point to visit my buddy on the Linda J.
Just inside the gate, on the right, on a trailer, was a Parker 2520XL named the

where it is, it's going to collect a lot of dust from the limestone and clay as
people drive around there. I'd be tempted to put it further away from the main

I know where my boats are.

Parked

What tempts you doesn't interest me.

Tell me, John, do you post this kind of information in the hopes that
one of the lesser brain output types here will engage in a bit of

vandalism?

Perhaps I should publish your home address, telephone number, license
plate numbers (on your motorbike, too), and your SSN. Would you like that?

The thing is, I wouldn't do that to you. But you would do it to me.

And that's one of the big differences between us. I keep my disputes
here here. You, on the other hand, are out to cause damage.

You're a lowlife, John Herring.

Basskisser, where are you when you are needed? Talk about wild
assumptions....Krause is making some doozies.

Krause, you are one hell of a paranoid screwed up human. I truly hope you
get help....and soon.

How's your wife, Dennis?

I rest my case.

It is fun to watch you make insults to jim-- when he didn't take you up on
your bet, but it was even funnier to watch you crawl under your rock when he
called your bluff on the lobster boat and Karen.

Thanks for sharing!

Indeed, this is what I enjoy most about the "cons" here...and why I
rarely bother to correct their "mis-assumptions." It's fun to watch them.

How is Karen, has she forgiven you for being embarrassed about her being a
social worker?
