Default Dog in Inflatable. Ok?

My wife and I want to buy an inflatable to use while we are looking for a
small cruiser. We would like to take
our Golden Retreiver out with us for a putt around the harbor .

I know about PFD's, and overheating and plenty of water but was wondering if
her nails could puncture the
Hyparlon tubes.

Also any comments or suggestions or any other issues we should be aware of
from someone who has done this?

Many thanks

Tony

I have a Zodiac inflatable that my 50-pund Samoyed has ridden in with no
problems. However, I would suspect the dog's temperment would be a factor to
consider. A dog that jumps around a lot would be more of a threat than one
that just sits there, as mine does.

BTW, mine is for sale. Email me offline if you might be interested.

Gee, which one do you want???

Actually, I intended to mean the Zodiac. But my mother in law is a Samoyed
breeder, so I can accommodate that, too!!
