Eisboch,
Such is life. -- Starbuck "The whole dream of democracy is to raise the proletarian to the level of stupidity attained by the bourgeois." -- Gustave Flaubert "Eisboch" wrote in message ... Harry,
I am impressed, I had no idea you were a published author. Give the book 5 more years and you will be as famous as Herman Melville. -- Starbuck "The coward regards himself as cautious; the miser, as thrifty." - Publilius Syrus "Harry Krause" wrote in message . .. About 35 years ago. If anyone discovered a copy now, it would be good for...kindling. :} |

Eisboch,
I don't know if you realize it, but Moby Dick was based upon a true event. http://www.melville.org/reynolds.htm -- Starbuck "As nothing reveals character like the company we like and keep, so nothing foretells futurity like the thoughts over which we brood." - Newell Dwight Hillis "Eisboch" wrote in message ... ![]() "Michael Gardner" wrote in message ... In article , Harry Krause wrote: My VHF blew its fuse earlier this week for reasons unknown. Well, I assumed it did, because it suddenly stopped working. When I took it home and plugged it into my 12V battery eliminator, it fired right up. So I went poking around the fuse panel. First accessory fuseholder I opened had a blown fuse, so I replaced it. No joy with the radio. Obviously, another fuseholder, so I kept on looking and found the devil. Now, since every other accessory circuit on the boat was working, what the hell was NOT working because of the first blown fuse I found? Grrrr. Our Klass Klown Krause has reached new heights... Now he's fabricating boat problems, to prove he has a boat! What a dimwit! LOL! -- -Netsock "It's just about going fast...that's all..." http://home.columbus.rr.com/ckg/ |
