Which part of "communist dictator" bothers you? "Communist", or "dictator"?
Explain why, and reveal your age.

As of 2 Sep, according to the Secretary of State, no offer had been

It would be interesting to see the source of the info saying we

snubbed Cuba's offer.

Brian, i can see you lack knowledge of Diversity in your life, we may not
agree with what Castro does, but who are we to judge ? We can learn from
other cultures.

Doug I have to admit that this is a very odd set of questions to me.I love
the freedoms that I have now and will fight to keep them. I won't go into my
age so much as to say that I grew up practicing "duck and cover" to save
ourselves in the event that Castro threw a bomb our way!
I was told in another post that I have no right to judge, but I am guilty
of "Having no knowledge of diversity"(thank you Ed}.I ask you now,Do you
have any issues with communists and or dictators?

Man have we really strayed from the boating thread? So here goes:
I have a 1959 lonestar that I enjoy on the Potomac river with my teenage
son. There how was that?

First of all, communism never had a chance, but I'm not about to debate
that. What I will point to is your serious inconsistency in flaming Castro,
while we do billions of dollars with China, a country which makes Cuba look
like paradise. And, remember that we ignore or sell arms to quite a few
dictators.

As it exists today, communism is nothing but a fancy name for another path
to political jobs, just like here.

Maybe I missed the news but so far I have not ready about any donations from

Even Sri Lanka contributed cash to the need of the Katrina victims.

In addition to the items listed (including our Crack Urban Search and

Frank Stronach, whose daughter is prominent in our Fed. Gov't, has bought
1000 acres in Louisana and is intending to build a TOWN for the displaced
victims. Oh, and he's currently housing over 200 victims in his Florida

Paul Martin seemed better as a Finance Minister. Now he has a
reputation of being wishy washy...trying to please everyone. He should
standup to George W. & his trade goons over the softwood lumber issue.

From who...or what?
Actually, we could use some protection from your current
govt...especially the yahoos who deal in international trade (softwood
lumber). Can you arrange that?
