No kidding eh!

That's pretty impressive for an electric motor. Does Minn Kot-a make that
model?

What would your guess be as to performance between trolling with a 30lb
thrust, and this 40lb thrust?

I would never look to go full throttle, simply trolling at 3kph, then use
the big motor to boot around.

On the 12-footer I use a 40-lb "Maximizer". I don't know how long it would
last at "full throttle" (I suspect maybe 1.5 hrs or so), but at trolling
speeds it runs all day and has lots left. The "Maximizer" cct means it
draws way less at lower throttle settings than conventional motors.

That's with a Group 24 deep-cycle battery.
