Hi All,

Here's the question, I've got a 16ft boat with about a 5ft wide back end.
On it I've got a 65hp motor, and the separate mount for a trolling motor.

I have a 9.9hp motor which I was considering using as the trolling motor,
but lately I'm thinking that it may be a touch too large size wise, and
weight wise.

What do you guys think?

Sounds a bit big. I can't get my 12-ft to troll slow enough with the 9.9 -
I use an electric. As for weight, you can put the battery and/or trolling
motor tank on the opposite side to the motor, or maybe even move the big
motor over a bit.
