I have a '93 forester with a 115HP Evinrude. I have 3 six gallon fuel tanks
that I'm looking at some way of hooking at least two together via a (manual or electric) selector valve. This sounds simple enough that I'm surprised there isn't such a "kit" designed for this purpose, or at least I don't see one. I'm I missing something that for some reason this will not work? do you have the room for permanent tank mounting? Would be safer.

I was thinking that way but with mixed gas it's easier to do with measured
tanks. Yet it sure would be nice to have an on dash gas gauge with a permanent tank and I'm sure I could get more than 18 gallons in the same space with one big tank. I guess the biggest difference would be cost, I think I could assemble the dual tank set up for around $50 where a permanent tank, filler and overflow setup could easily be $300-$400. A big plus is you can fill your tanks away from the water where it is more

My bad. I meant to say you can take your tanks away from the water. Where it
