A big plus is you can fill your tanks away from the water where it is more
expensive.

I was thinking that way but with mixed gas it's easier to do with measured
tanks.
Yet it sure would be nice to have an on dash gas gauge with a permanent
tank
and I'm sure I could get more than 18 gallons in the same space with one
big
tank.
I guess the biggest difference would be cost, I think I could assemble the
dual tank set up for around $50 where a permanent tank, filler and
overflow
setup could easily be $300-$400.

do you have the room for permanent tank mounting? Would be safer.

I have a '93 forester with a 115HP Evinrude. I have 3 six gallon fuel
tanks that I'm looking at some way of hooking at least two together via
a
(manual or electric) selector valve. This sounds simple enough that I'm
surprised there isn't such a "kit" designed for this purpose, or at
least
I don't see one. I'm I missing something that for some reason this will
not work?
Thanks For any input.
