Default Hurricane relief

My engineer who has family in Ocean Springs got word yesterday that
they survived, one house destroyed and another still liveable, but no
power or water.
We went to Wal Mart and bought bottled water, propane, gas cans,
diapers, canned food, bleach, etc and loaded up his truck. He will
leave tonight. He has contact via cell phone intermittently. Although
there have been no reports of violence that far east, he will be armed
and has word to teh police there he is coming. I tried to give him my
hand held VHF but he didnt know what to do with it.
