Hurricane boat opinions?
Hello,
My girlfriend plans to buy a Hurricane deck boat. She swears by these boats. I am a newbie to boats and cruising. I would like to hear some pros and cons about the Hurricane boats. Are there any web sites that are dedicated to Hurricane boats? Any information and advice you can share is appreciated. Thank you in advance. -- SR Please remove SPAMBUSTER to reply via email. |

Hurricane is a good boat. Should have no issues w/ the boat itself. If
used, you need to have an inspection done to verify engine, outdirve, etc... As for deck boats. Pros: Carry lots of people, lots of room for all your stuff, good overall speed (assuming you get a large enough engine - V8), can ski behind (assuming you get a V8). Cons: Rough ride compared to a lot of boats. (an open bow runabout will ride better). Large heavy boat for trailering (definetly need a full size pickup or SUV for this one). If comparing to a pontoon - cannot go slow like on a pontoon (it is either idle along or go 20+ mph like any other boat). -- Tony my boats and cars at http://t.thomas.home.mchsi.com "Subba Rao" wrote in message ...
