Regarding 40 hp Yamaha 4 stroke on 14' Lund. I expressed a concern to
the dealer that I couldn't troll slow enough with a 40 hp for trout/walleye etc. He suggested installing a trolling plate to slow the boat down. Later however he mentioned that some people don't recommend using a trolling plate on a 4 stroke. Anyone using trolling plates on a 4 stroke? Any comments would be appreciated. |
