Depends on the boat and manufacturer. Component wise, they are the same.
However, they may or may not have a different gear ratio in them. Depends on the weight of the boat and how they are setup. In general they tend to use the same gear but not always. -- Tony My boats and autos - http://t.thomas.home.mchsi.com "seeray" wrote in message ... Hey all I was at the boat shop today drooling over the new SeaRays (so bad that I had to change my shirt when I got home). I noticed that the 3.0 litre had the same outdrive (alpha 1) as the 4.3 litre. Do the outdrive differ internally or do they use the same gearing and all, and just change the prop? Just curious Thanks Steve |
