I agree that the hole was where an hour meter would have been installed.
The boat is a one owner boat and well maintained. The owner kept records of all maintenance and boat usage, with the boat used only an average of 10 times/season. The engine was compression tested and had a strong showing with only 4 psi difference in cylinder readings, ranging from 159 psi to 162 psi. "Starbucks" wrote in message ... JimH, I have to agree with someone else that the missing gauge was the hour meter. I would wonder how many hours was on the engine. Do you know the previous owner, who can give you an honest estimate of the engine hours? "*JimH*" wrote in message ... No one told you to download the pic. You are really getting to be a pain in the ass lately JR. It must be a bitch having such a negative outlook all the time.
