Doug,

I believe that Bush, like every democratic and republican politician for
the last 5 years believed that Saddam was stock piling WMD and was
allowing terrorists to have training camps in his country. Can you name
one politician, including Clinton and Kerry who did not believe Saddam was
stock piling WMD and using his country to harbor terrorists? There are
two possible alternatives for this incorrect belief. One - The WMD were
shipped to another country before the invasion or Two The intelligence was
incorrect. The head of the CIA was a Clinton appointee, not someone who
was feeding Bush the info he wanted to hear. He was giving Bush the same
info he had provided Clinton and the Congressional Intelligence Committee
for more than 5 years.

Doesn't really matter who appointed the CIA chief. A new boss steps in, and
tells various government employees how they're expected to operate. They may
as well be different employees. This is no different than any major
corporation with a new CEO.

Now doesn't that make much more sense than Bush has a sexual fantasy about
invading Iraq?

My diagnosis stands.
