My wife says I'm getting better, and the cat no longer retreats to his
litter box during my practice sessions. My instructor says I'm
improving as well, but that comment usually immediately precedes the
moment when I write the check for my weekly lesson. :-)

That's how my guitar lessons work! I think I'm so-so, but at the end of
the month, my instructor tells me I'm a flippin' rock star!!!
