The Islamic "terrorists" are no more motivated by true Islam than the
KKK is motivated by true Christianity, (or than the anti-semitism of
Nazi Germany and the purity of the Aryan "race" was justified by
Christianity).

The party spreading this filth calls upon all Muslims to abandon their
faith due to the actions of some terrorist criminals. Assuming you are
a Christian, will you soon be abandoning your faith due to the
terrorist actions of the Ku Klux Klan, or is it possible to repudiate
the Klan without repudiating Christianity?

Would you feel that Black, Jewish, and Catholic Americans were well
justified if they declared war on all WASPS due to the criminal
terrorist activities of splinter groups professing protestant
Christianity in the US? If not, why do we now hear so many defending
these calls for wars to "stamp out Islam" in response to the criminal
terrorist activities of an extremist minority?

You are obviously and remarkably ignorant, showing conclusively you
know nothing concerning any of these faiths, and foghorning the empty
results of your vain imagination.

Naw, I wouldn't say I'm all that ignorant but I do admit that I haven't
learned the finer points of comparative religion and philosophy from
the Rush Limbaugh comedy hour, like so many seem to have done. Perhaps
if I pay more careful attention to RW hate radio and less to the Quran
I'll learn a lot more about Islam.

Riddle me this: If Islam is so fundamentally false and evil, should the
passages in the Quran that recognize Jesus as a divine messenger from
God, acknowledge Mary and the virgin birth, and acknowledge the
miracles and resurrection of Jesus be rejected as false teachings? Was
Mohammed wrong to revere the Torah and the Gospels? Is the God
professed by Mohammed, (the God of Abraham- the same God that Jews
address as Jehovah, Muslims address as Allah, and Christians address as
Our Father and a variety of other terms), a false god?

Here are a few references to such issues, and from a Christian, not
Muslim, site:

Unfortunately for those who seek a simplistic view of the world, Muslim
extremists are no more representative of mainstream Islam than the KKK
is representative of mainstream Christianity.

Spend a little less time hurling insults and calling names, and a
little more time studying actual sources- (listening to radio rabble
rousers with an agenda doesn't count). You may be surprised at what you
can learn.

How the hell did Rush Limbaugh get into this? Limbaugh has not, to my knowledge,
been down on Islam, per se. He gets down on the Muslim extremists. Your comments
so far have rung very truthful. Why interject party affiliations into them?
