Anybody have experience with the Briggs & Stratton 5 hp 4-cycle outboard?
They can be purchased for $600-$700 brand new which is way cheaper than any other 4 stoke outboards that I looked at. Here's the link from the company website: http://www.briggsandstratton.com/dis...sp?docid=76403 I'd just be using it on my inflatable so it wouldn't be getting much use. Looks like a pretty good deal as long it's not junk! Kevin |

Google for this subject, it has been discussed here before. Don B |

After 10 years in the mower business, I can tell you that Briggs seems to
have chosen the low road. I consider them junk. I've heard the Briggs outboard trolling. It is air cooled and very loud. If money is your only consideration, go for it! -- Dale Gillespie My Homepage: www.FishWisher.com My RV Site: http://groups.msn.com/CoachpotatosRV..._whatsnew.msnw "Kevin Despot" wrote in message ...
