Fricking Merc Cruiser manual..... Big ole manual came
with my new 2005 Bayliner capi 3.0/A-1 right ? Full of good information, EXCEPT for oil filter. They tell you how to change oil, part number for oil etc, yada, yada. But they don't say BOO about the fricken oil filter P/N. So why the hell do they DO that ? Why is this so secret ? I'd be happy with a merc 35-xxxx number, but nooooo. So in plain ole "auto-eese", what is the filter for a 3.0L ? PH2, PH3, PH47 ??? I mean, it IS a Chevy, right ?? Thanks |

Most autoparts stores can cross the Mercury number. Just post it here and I
will check on my end. "Mr Wizzard" wrote in message ... "Woodchuck" wrote in message ... I have used Fram, AC, Autolite, etc for the last 20 years on my engines and never hhad a failure.
