a.) I do own a boat and have for a long time, and

b.) the physicists and the US Mil Spec and the oil rig designers hold the very
same opinion.

So, who is ignorant? You or them?

I vote for the person that believes temporarily anchoring a
recreational boat in normal conditions and depth can be equated with
anchoring an oil rig 24/7/365 and deep water. Sheesh.

let me guess. you drive a grady-white, maybe?

let me guess again. you drive drunk. and insist that behavior is okay.

From what you've said about your "rounding" of Cape Hattaras, I suspect
it's entirely fictional, like your "definitive" book. Tell us about the
rocks which make it so-o-o-o dangerous, Jax!
