Bob, One company makes most all the outboard jet units in the USA, Specialty Manufacturing in San Leandro, CA. You can go to any boat dealer that sells and services jet outboards and buy a new unit for ~$1,500USD. That makes a good unit for a 16' Jon boat (300-400# hull) but don't get it too heavy when loaded. -- Bill Kiene Kiene's Fly Shop Sacramento, CA, USA Web site: www.kiene.com Bill, any shad at Verona? Bill Are the shad there migratory???? American Shad. 3-5# fish. Largest members of the herring family. Also known as freshwater tarpon. Caught both with spinning rigs and "shad darts" and bead head fly's on fly gear with shooting heads. I use an 8 wt flyrod. Verona is only a few miles from Kiene's fly shop. Is where the Feather River enters the Sacramento River. |
