Does anyone know how you can tell if Harry is lying?

Another lie of yours, John. I've never had the slightest desire to have

I didn't realize they gave merit badges for the various stages of
successful potty training.

Charlie, those are *alleged* merit badges. Remember with whom we're

How about this: Any soldier who was in harm's way is a hero. That

includes
millions, and excludes Nookular Boy. Simple.

Tell that to all the reservists. Those in Iraq, Afganistan, or about to

go
there.

It was a compliment to the aforementioned soldiers. Did you miss that?

It was a knock on some reservists. Bush was a reservist. He could have
been called up. But end of Vietnam came along, and the military was looking
more at downsizing, than bringing up more people.

1) It wasn't intended as a knock on reservists.
2) Please don't mention Bush in the same discussion as real citizens. Things
will go better that way.

did.

As if that's a good thing.
The militaries take advantage of youthful naivete and most of them get out
after their first term.
If you had *served* you would already know this.

Did you serve? I went in in 1965. Air Force. Draft notice went to the
wrong address late 1964, so knew they were looking for me. Never left the
States. assigned to a military airlift wing. Electronics. Spent most of
the time in an air-conditioned shop at Travis AFB fixing radar's off misc.
transports. I even get to check the Viet Nam era veteran box. Did turn
down chopper pilot offer from the army while at Keesler AFB. 1965 was not a
good year to be flying choppers. The one bad thing about the all volunteer
army is the need for fast, young guns. Get slower, more knowledgeable
gunners.

Based upon the new Democrat philosophy if you didn't serve in the military
you have no right to quesiton those that did. So, did you serve in the
military?
