Default Speedometer?

Are you sure you need an outside unit? Most modern outboards and I/O

rubber tube at the front of the foot, check it for blockage or
disconnect.

I believe that I have a separate speedometer foot.

I have a speedometer in my dash. It is not working however because the
outside unit is missing. I suppose that the outside unit somehow
measures some set suction pressure or some such thing. I would like to
know if the outside sensor units are sold together with tubing
separately from the gauge.
