Arkansas Traveler History
I just got my 1957 Arkansas traveler running after sitting for 20
years. It has the Johnson Javelin 35 horse on her. I plan to do a complete resoration. I've found resources for the motor but have no idea about the history of the Arkansas Traveler boat company. Can anyone help me find out more about my unique boat???? |

They were produced in upstate NY, near Amsterdam. The plant is visible
from the NYS Thruway, in fact the loading hoist is still there. The plant has been closed for years. wrote: I just got my 1957 Arkansas traveler running after sitting for 20 years.
