No Chuck, you called *me* names and I *didn't* comment on the Jackson
post!

Very bizarre.

Let me get this straight: You claim I called you names because you
failed to comment about Michael Jackson. Is that correct?

Um, he was talking about Jesse, not Michael. Did you forget which thread
you're posting in?

Try to keep up, OK?

No, as soon as I saw your post I immediately thought of a boating
newsgroup asshole.

If you meant to post, "Forget this is a boating newsgroup, asshole?"
you should have done so.

1. He commented.
2. I called him an "apologist." (I now realize that the term could have
considered an insult if one
is not familiar with the defintion).

Sorry, John H. Should I ever decide to call you names, I'll make them
short and common. :-)

So you agree that you lost track of which thread you were participating in?
It was Jesse, instead of Michael, right? Maybe you've over-extended
yourself a bit.

Once again, try to keep up, OK? It's a bit tiring having to explain it to
you.

Unfortunately Chuck, that pronunciation *is* typical for blacks in this
area. I live in SC, and while all blacks don't speak that way, a large
number do. And most of these aren't uneducated people... I can think of
several from my graduating class in high school that required concentration
to be able to understand.

It goes on to this day. It's a *choice* made by them to speak in that
manner. It severely limits their acceptance by mainstream society, and the
opportunities available to them. You, the ACLU, and the NAACP do them no
favors by coddling and accepting their behavior, and telling Bill Cosby to
shut up when he points it out. You... the PC crowd, *are* part of the
problem.

Like any American city, their are parts of Columbia, SC that are pockets of
drug and crime activity. The Columbia Police Dept.started a "Clean Sweep"
program a couple of weeks ago to try to stem the drug activity in the
downtown area. The ACLU and NAACP were quick to swoop in and proclaim that
blacks were being targeted by the police. They called news conferences and
condemned the activities. To the local news show's credit, when they
covered this, they showed one final clip at the end. It was several black
women who were saying that they *welcomed* the clean sweep program in their
neighborhoods! They were tired of the drugs and crime, and wanted to
reclaim their neighborhood. The organizations get so caught up in pushing
their agendas that they forget to listen to their constituents. Pretty much
like the PC crowd... squashing any recognition of reality, just pushing
their blind agendas.

Reply when you work up a good spin... I see you didn't earlier, but maybe
you did, just to the wrong thread when you were confused.

**** you off topic posting asshole. Go play you ****ing games somewhere

else. Boaters don't give a flying **** about your political views.

Nor are they impressed with your exceptionally rude manners and lack of

Yes, when John H said the "Jackson" thread, I assumed he meant the
Michael Jackson thread. It didn't initially occur to me he could have
been refering to the Jesse Jackson reference in what most would
consider the Mike Tyson thread.

Have you ever seem any comedian who has not poked fun at other people or

You are one pompous asshole.

Time to move on folks....the PC crowd is suffocating me.

*******

Doubtful.

Your joke was marginal. When others began suggesting names of other
African Americans to substitute for Mike Tyson in the punchline, the
thread, (as observed), became racist and the implication was that the
enunciation "Fe Fi Fo" (for the numbers three, five, and four) was
typical among people of color. Unless one cares to represent Jesse
Jackson as a punch drunk pugilist, the follow-on comments took the

Go find yourself a sense of humor that doesn't rely on putting other
people down, or defending those who do.
