We know how to do it right here...except that it was a well kept secret.
Numerous service people and individuals in period costume from both countries held a memorial on Deadman's Island for US dead buried here during 1812 war. see http://tinyurl.com/a6qew and http://tinyurl.com/by552 I'll try to forward any pictures in tomorrow's newspaper. The TV footage was great. |
