I hate to ask the obvious question, but is there water in the bilge to pump?
It's not always the case ya know. I'm not familiar with that boat, but I'm pretty certain that the pump would be pretty accessable to replace if need be. --Mike "jflash" wrote in message ... My family has an 18(?)-year old Shamir Sidewinder ski boat. For several years now, the bilge pump has not worked. I can hear it humming when I turn it on, but it does not pump any water. Any suggestions that do not involve much dismantling of the hull? |

Also, I'm not sure if I've got the right place for the intake, but there is a ski locker in the floor. The reason I think this is the place is that there are no other compartments that could hold water. I also can't even find the pump itself, and there are about three pipes down there that could be the inlet. |
