Since you obviously are referring to me, without mentioning my name, please tell us WHY I would be jealous of someone who is a vet and spent his career in the military. You should try a little harder to NOT project yourself onto others. Are you taking psychology lessons from the psychologist of the house, or did you just learn a new word. What prompted the response, the 'name-calling' or the 'not a vet' comment? It would be interesting to know. Your comment: "Your name-calling is reminiscent of another in the group. He's not a vet either, and the jealousy is blatantly obvious. It's a shame." Or did someone else spoofing your ID toss in that insult? Perhaps I wasn't clear. Which part of my comment got *your* attention? What makes you think I was referring to you? There are several other name-calling, non-vets in the group. -- John H On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD "Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it." Rene Descartes (A true binary thinker!) I have 7 pounds of baby back ribs about to come out of the oven (I seasoned them overnight with my special rub) and onto the grill. Yum. Will you share your rub recipe? -- John H On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD "Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it." Rene Descartes (A true binary thinker!) Yep! OK! I'm waiting! The address I have above works. Send me yours and I'll send you mine back. Mine is a quickie I got from a friend. Not bad, but not great. My latest trick is to bake the ribs for about 4 hours at 225 degrees, then pop 'em on the grill for about 10 minutes a side. I get my ribs at Costco. They're the best I've found around here. -- John H On the 'PocoLoco' out of Deale, MD "Divide each difficulty into as many parts as is feasible and necessary to resolve it." Rene Descartes (A true binary thinker!) PS. How do you get 7 lbs of ribs in a pot without touching each other or the beer? Must be a hell of a pot. Have you change your method of cooking them? I see you're using the oven now. -- John H First of all, I goofed on the amounts in the recipe. Here is the correct one: To 1/2 cup of worcester sauce add a 1/8 cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, garlic powder, vinegar, ground pepper, garlic powder, salt, and paprika. We use a great big cooking pot (we use it for corn and for clam bakes) and use 2 levels of wire racks to keep the ribs out of the beer and off each other. We cook the ribs in the oven and finish them on the grill. BBQ sauce is not added till the are grilled. |
