Yep!

OK! I'm waiting! The address I have above works. Send me yours and I'll send you
mine back. Mine is a quickie I got from a friend. Not bad, but not great.

My latest trick is to bake the ribs for about 4 hours at 225 degrees, then pop
'em on the grill for about 10 minutes a side. I get my ribs at Costco. They're
the best I've found around here.

Wet rub:

To 3/4 cup of worcester sauce add a 1/4 cup of vinegar and 1/8 tablespoon
of brown sugar, garlic powder, vinegar, ground pepper, garlic powder, salt,
and paprika.

Rub the ribs and let sit for at least 8 hours. It is best that you wrap the
ribs tightly in plastic wrap during this seasoning process.

Next day....Unwrap the ribs and put them in a large pot. Add 2 cans of beer
to the pot. Place ribs (cut in halfs) on racks so as none arre touching
each other or the beer. Cover and cook @ 350~325 F 1~2 hours with the lid
on. Remove when the meat pulls away from the bone by 1~1/1/4".

Place the ribs on a preheated grill (high). Apply bbq sauce liberally to
both sides, turning as necessary and cooking until both sides are slightly
burnt.

Enjoy!

Here ya go:

Beef Brisket or Pork Ribs Rub

¼ cup chili powder (Chipotle for me!)
¼ cup salt
¼ cup granulated garlic
¼ cup granulated onion
¼ cup black pepper
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 bay leaves

Combine ingredients in a blender until evenly distributed. Season ribs or
brisket on both sides with rub seasoning. Sprinkle the seasoning on the meat and
rub in well with your hands. Store in plastic bag in refrigerator for 24-48
hours.

First of all, I goofed on the amounts in the recipe. Here is the correct
one:

To 1/2 cup of worcester sauce add a 1/8 cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons
of brown sugar, garlic powder, vinegar, ground pepper, garlic powder, salt,
and paprika.

We use a great big cooking pot (we use it for corn and for clam bakes) and
use 2 levels of wire racks to keep the ribs out of the beer and off each
other.

We cook the ribs in the oven and finish them on the grill. BBQ sauce is not
added till the are grilled.

then
pop
'em on the grill for about 10 minutes a side. I get my ribs at Costco.
They're
the best I've found around here.

PS. How do you get 7 lbs of ribs in a pot without touching each other or
the
beer? Must be a hell of a pot. Have you change your method of cooking
them? I
see you're using the oven now.

First of all, I goofed on the amounts in the recipe. Here is the correct
one:

To 1/2 cup of worcester sauce add a 1/8 cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons
of brown sugar, garlic powder, ground pepper, garlic powder, salt,
and paprika.

We use a great big cooking pot (we use it for corn and for clam bakes) and
use 2 levels of wire racks to keep the ribs out of the beer and off each
other.

We cook the ribs in the oven and finish them on the grill. BBQ sauce is
not
added till the are grilled.

That pot sounds interesting. Where'd you find it? Who's the maker?

You find them just about anywhere...Walmart, kitchen goods stores. I am
sure you have seen them.....black with white specks. 9 inches tall, 14 inch
diameter. I am sure they come even bigger.

What prompted the response, the 'name-calling' or the 'not a

Your comment:

"Your name-calling is reminiscent of another in the group. He's
not
a
vet either, and the jealousy is blatantly obvious. It's a shame."

Or did someone else spoofing your ID toss in that insult?

Perhaps I wasn't clear. Which part of my comment got *your*

What
makes you think I was referring to you? There are several other
name-calling,

I have 7 pounds of baby back ribs about to come out of the oven (I
seasoned
them overnight with my special rub) and onto the grill.

Yum.

Will you share your rub recipe?

Yep!

OK! I'm waiting! The address I have above works. Send me yours and
I'll
send you
mine back. Mine is a quickie I got from a friend. Not bad, but not
great.

My latest trick is to bake the ribs for about 4 hours at 225 degrees,
then
pop
'em on the grill for about 10 minutes a side. I get my ribs at Costco.

I've seen large pots, and use them for canning. But I haven't seen any with the
racks you mentions. I'll keep my eyes out. Thanks!

Try my rub sometime, and let me know what you think.

What I'd like to find is the recipe for the Red, Hot, and Blue rub. It has a
nice flavor. I'd still use the chipotle pepper chili powder though. I think I've
gotten addicted to it. Now Tabasco is making a chipotle pepper sauce. It's
fantastic. Lots of flavor but not as much fire.
