Default 150 HP Merc Outboard Impeller Replacement

I need to change the impeller in my 1997 150 HP Mercury outboard. The
price on Mercury's site is $32 for the impeller and $47 for the whole
upper housing repair kit. Would it be best to buy the whole kit?

Thanks,
Jim

Our buddy Clams loses $10 on every sale, but he makes it up in volume!
Heck, even I would do business with him.

So why is it so hard to work on outboards these days? When I was a kid any
shadetree mechanic could fix up an outboard but now you need to be a
mechanical engineer.

No. Buy them seperatly, and at different times.
