I have a 2002 Mercruiser 5.0 Alpha One that dies while towing the
kids..It does not do it on every trip..but when it does happens it
seems to do it several times in a day..It is a flat out die..not like
it runs out of fuel. It starts right back up..and does not appear to
be related to "bumpy" water. It appears to be electrical in nature. I
have checked all the regular things..The gauges and dash do not lose
power...any ideas?
