.. President Bush's approval rating has now "plunged to the lowest level
of any president since World War II
(http://www.mediainfo.com/eandp/news/..._id=1000866232)
at this point in his second term," Gallup reported on Tuesday.
President Bush's current rating -- just 45 percent -- is 14 points lower
than President Clinton, 11 lower than President Reagan, and a whopping
24 lower than President Johnson, relative to corresponding points in
their second terms. "More bad signs for the president: Gallup's survey
now finds only 38% expressing satisfaction with the 'state of the
country' while 59% are 'dissatisfied.'

You own a boat, Jim?

20% of the people in the NG already agree with you, 40% don't care one
way or the other, and the remaining 40% wouldn't admit GWB doesn't walk
on water if you posted a photo of him fallen overboard and drenched in
the Potomac.

Maybe we should all rethink posting stuff like this to rec.boats. Just
a thought. Would the group be worse off with the exit of a group of
folks here for no other purpose except to talk politics or post flames?
Sometimes the best way to get rid of flies is to shovel out the cow
crap that draws them in. As I say, just a thought.

Gee John, you're even more the Kerry fan than I am. He's good, but not
that good.

I do believe we would be better off than we are now. What was the
question asked in another campaign "Are you better off now than 4 years
ago?"

*He* said he was that good (with a little help from his sidekick, Edwards)!

I'm not near as well off now as I would have been with Kerry in office. Just
look at all the stuff he promised!

He's used to falling numbers. Besides a few wars, his numbers have been
trending downwards since he was first elected. Must be all that
"political capital" he's been spending.

Try 7 (if you count inflatables

Then post about them or stick one of the inflatables up your ass and inflate
it!
