Is this sufficient for cooling the motor when it is running on the trailer and out of the water? Or am I still required to use the "headphone" style hose connection? I use the boat in fresh water, so I am mostly interested in how I can properly run the motor for maintenance & tuning purposes. I'm not familiar with that model, but most manufacturers, I believe, don't recommend this practice. My suspicion is that the muffs will still have to be used. Check you owner's manual for particulars. On my motor, the muffs fall off the moment you look away. Don't look away, not matter HOW good the neighbor lady looks when she bends down to pick up the newspaper. |
