I recommend JimH try boating. Then he may have something positive to
contribute.

For to try boating, he'd have to get a boat. I'd be willing to
sell him my Parker.

John H wondered:

People who are always automatically so anti-tax ...

Gee, who would these be Chuck? Surely you're not referring to one
political
group are you?
**************

How can you be confused? I clearly defined the group as "people who are
always automatically so anti-tax". Does that constitute a "political
group"? Which one? I think there are anti-tax fanatics in many
different groups.

Seattle Harbor Cop Dies in Ship Canal

'Rip rap rocks?' From whence came that?

Because that is what the banks of that canal are made of you cretin.
Rick

Ahem, Not sure why you would call him a cretin for asking a simple
question, but in any event to be technical about it, The ship canal
banks are concrete bulkheads with rip-rap thrown in later to keep from
undermining the original concrete bulkhead, and as you probably know
this time of year the water levels are pretty low exposing most of the
rip-rap. No matter, Still sad to hear about losing an HPU guy.

Sections of the canal that are slab sided include the reach between the
Fremont Bridge and Salmon Bay, as well as the Montlake "cut".

The area where the tragedy occured has a rock embankment.

Following me around to make personal remarks must be very boring.

Perhaps you should take up an actual hobby.

May I suggest boating?

You may want to start off, at least initially, with some adult
supervision.

More insults from Chuck Gould who always places himself above that sort of
thing.

Here is a song just for you Chuck:

gould types have no lower threshold, anything goes.

*********

Well that's a fact. You know how much of a low life piece of crap I
*could be*?

I could pick a single line, out of context, in a several paragraph
expression of regret that a local policeman died in the line of duty. I
could pick a line that noted that staffing seems to have been cut back
on the patrol boats, and a line that wondered whether anti-tax
sentiments had forced a reduction in personnel.

Then, if I were truly a pig headed, futher mucking, ignorant piece of
useless humanity rattling down a junkpile of discarded intellects, I
would use that line, extracted out of context, read meanings into it
that were never stated or intended, and accuse the writer of trying to
politicize a tragedy.

Then, if I were *even lower* than a pig headed, futher mucking,
ignorant piece of useless humanity rattling down a junkpile of
discarded intellects, I would "pile on".

You're absolutely right Wally, there's no limit to how low I could go.
If I go low enough, I'll find some people like I just described, I'm
sure.
